简介I am passionate about accuracy in grammar and spelling, and as a native speaker of New Zealand English I have a good understanding of both British and American English, with an appreciation for the differences in style and nuances of language in different parts of the world. My grasp of English has developed more strongly through learning the French and German languages at secondary school and university.

自我介绍My specialist fields of expertise, for which I also hold tertiary qualifications include: insurance, financial services, management, music, tourism. I also have a lot of knowledge of food & wine, gardening & horticulture, animals & rural lifestyle.
I have extensive experience in writing, reviewing and editing: business documents; policy wordings; training material; web content; government submissions; customer documentation & marketing messages; and corporate & media communications.
For more than seven years I have worked as Underwriting Manager in New Zealand's largest general insurer, IAG, and have extensive knowledge of the legislative framework and requirements of the industry in Australasia and legal jargon. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in written documentation to our customers, such as policy wordings. One of my most recent tasks in this role involved the sub-editing of more than 25 training modules for frontline insurance staff as part of the development of IAG’s internal 3-tier Underwriting Academy, which required extensive structural and copy changes to ensure the material was pitched at the appropriate learning level.
