I am a published researcher with a background in environmental sciences and public health. My Master's degree is in epidemiology and biostatistics, so I have a strong grasp of applied research methods and statistical analysis. I have worked with the World Health Organization and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Nevada Cancer Registry and the U.S. Department of Energy. I have also done some copy-editing for small businesses and non-profits, on projects such as NIH grant proposals, academic research papers and a field guide to birds. I have published original research papers in PLoS One, the International Journal of STD & AIDS, Rural and Remote Health and BMC's Harm Reduction Journal.

I am a statistician and technical writing specialist with research experience in international health, social science and groundwater safety monitoring. My profile picture was taken on a conference trip in Dubai, and I have also traveled to several countries in Africa and Europe for scientific conferences. My favorite authors are war correspondent Gerard Prunier, good governance expert Malcolm Sparrow, playwright/novelist Mikhail Bulgakov and novelist Orhan Pamuk. My ongoing research interests include strengths and weaknesses of complex-PTSD interventions, gaps in regulation of toxic gases in shower fumes, informal payment systems at point of care in health, Markov model implementation for CBA and VoIA, and data mining for predictors of vaccine coverage in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

 

我是一个由丰富的国际健康以及艾滋病研究经验的研究员。同时我也为国家能源局进行环境风险管理研究， 进行核反应测试堆对地下水源的影响研究。 我的头像是我去迪拜的时候拍摄的， 失去参加一个世界卫生组织会议。 我曾今去到坦桑尼亚， 南非， 维亚纳以及日内瓦。我非常享受帮助中国留学生实现总出国门实现自己的学术梦想的过程。我从来没有去过中国，但是我最喜欢的连个博主在中国生活， 感谢芝士圈给我提供了这个可以了解中国风土人情的机会。
