简介Corinna is completing a PhD at the University of Oxford and has also studied towards a PhD at the University of Cambridge. She has a Masters from the University of Cape Town and a B.A. from Germany.Corinna has plenty of experience in research within and outside academia; she has published and regularly presents papers at international conferences. She is also a professional journalist, writer, communications trainer and leadership coach – keen to help you on your road to academic success.

I was born in Germany and have lived, studied and worked in the United States, Russia, South Africa and the United Kingdom. I know what it is like to go to a foreign country and get used to a different education system and a different culture. It can be hard, but it is a wonderful experience - one that I hope you will have as well!
I did my undergraduate studies in Germany and my Masters in South Africa. At the same time, I worked as a journalist and writer, and later as an organisational consultant and leadership coach. I also have plenty of research experience.
In 2009 I was accepted at the University of Cambridge for a PhD in Sociology and later at the University of Oxford for a PhD (D.Phil) in Politics which I am currently finishing. Cambridge and Oxford are quite different from other universities in the UK and elsewhere. It can take a while to understand the system, and if you want to apply to study there you should be well prepared and know as much as possible about what is expected of you.
I am happy to help you with this challenge and look at your documents (application letters, CV's, personal statements, essays etc.). You can expect a thorough edit and constructive feedback that will not only help you to improve this particular document, but to do an even better job next time. I am also available to talk to you in a friendly and helpful way and to share with you what I have learned (often the hard way!). Lastly, if you want someone to practise interviews with, I am happy to practise with you. Having done plenty of interviews myself successfully, and also having been a professional journalist for more than ten years and a communications trainer, I will make sure that you are well prepared and more confident in yourself and your communication skills.
