I’m a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of UCLA. While earning my degree in biochemistry, I directed and lectured for an on-campus medical training program for the UCLA Department of Emergency Medicine. Later, after switching to business, I began lecturing to MBA students and have done so now for many years.
For a period of time, I worked for one of the largest test-prep companies in the United States, where I taught hundreds of aspiring graduate students how to master standardized exams. My exams included the GRE, LSAT, MCAT and—my specialty—the GMAT. Perhaps because I enjoy standardized tests, I quickly became the company’s principal GMAT instructor in Los Angeles and trained all our new teachers. I was also the first person at the company to help MBA applicants craft effective application essays that helped them be admitted to elite MBA programs.
More recently, I founded and currently run an educational charity that puts disadvantaged students into college.
I've been fortunate to have helped hundreds of terrific applicants into top MBA schools, and I remain connected with most of them to this day.
