With a background in Chinese to English translation and teaching English as a second language, I have honed excellent skills in attention to detail and cultivated a passion towards supporting international students. Having completed a year of study with Zhejiang University of Media and Communications, I have gained first-hand experience of the challenges of studying in another language and believe I can support students in reflecting their potential through the application process.

After attending undergraduate studies in Chinese and International Business, I went on to complete a postgraduate degree in Chinese to English Translation with the University of Bristol. I have now gained a wealth of experience in translation, editing, and proofreading, and have also branched into teaching English as a second language. Having worked, lived, and studied extensively in China, I have acquired experience in supporting students of all ages and have gained an insight into the common challenges in academic writing encountered by international students.

 

I look forward to working together and creating a strong university application. 

 

在完成了中文和国际商务的本科学习后，我继续在布里斯托大学完成了汉英翻译的研究生学位。 我现在在翻译、编辑和校对方面获得了丰富的经验，并且还涉足了英语作为第二语言的教学。 在中国广泛工作、生活和学习后，我获得了支持各个年龄段学生的经验，并深入了解了国际学生在学术写作方面遇到的共同挑战。
