自我介绍

My name is Guy Bernfeld. I was born American, but I consider myself a citizen of the world. I have traveled extensively and acquired a lot of life experience that I’d like to share with you. Originally, I was a stockbroker and trader in the US markets, and I also dabbled in real estate investment. Later, in my travels, I participated in many interesting ventures. I started and ran a small publishing company in the Middle East that specialized in political and social commentary. I met my wife, who is French, in Shanghai, and we lived there for seven years. During that time, I conducted corporate training and worked also as an editor and writer, mostly in the area of investment and finance. I became the managing editor of a monthly business magazine and, along with my wife, opened a consulting company that specialized in sourcing manufacturing for our global clientele. We moved to Xiamen where, for 11 years, we continued our consulting activities and were involved in several other business ventures. In 2020, we relocated with our two children (both of whom were born in China and speak Mandarin) to Brittany, France where we now live. While enjoying life in the French countryside, I started a company here that offers translation, editing, proofreading, and writing services. My personal interests include reading, cooking (I’m in France, of course!), and travel. I have also for the past few years been actively engaged in cryptocurrency trading and investing. I am very happy to now also be working along with Zhishiq, helping students to achieve their goal of study at the overseas school of their dreams!
