My writing has been published and is forthcoming in literary journals in the US and Canada. As an experienced writer and teacher, I have worked with countless students to make their writing effectively say what THEY want it to say. It is important to me that we work to make your writing express who you are - and it’s important to admissions committees too! 

As we go through drafts of your essays, we will improve upon each one, until each sentence is as clear and true to you as it can be. I understand the commitment and the thorough attention to detail required to make a piece go from ‘good’ to ‘great’, and I am ready to share my knowledge and experience with you.

    Iracema is awesome! She surprised me how smooth and coherent my statement could be in the first draft. Also, she raised some thought-provoking questions for me to further focus my interest, as well as to develop my content. In the second round, she was also amazing, incorporating my answers perfectly into the statement, at the same time making the whole body more concise and concrete.
