自我介绍
自我介绍I have been a university professor of education since 2000. Before that, I was a K-12 teacher. In my university work, I have had the opportunity to engage in many interesting projects, including preparing teachers at the undergraduate level, teaching graduate students in person and online, designing curricula for graduate teacher preparation programs, and creating graduate courses in educational innovation and technology. My research interests involve teachers' abilities to teach mathematics to students and student achievement in K-8 mathematics. My main expertise lies in qualitative research methodology.
I live in a house in the country near Birmingham, Alabama, with my dog and two cats. I enjoy being outdoors and creating jewelry in my spare time.

At Alabama A&M, I was an instructor in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Educator. I taught courses in both special education and elementary education, primarily in regard to the inclusion of students with disabilities in general education settings and in mathematics education. I served as an advisor for approximately 150 graduate students in the teacher certification program.
