Hi! I'm Andrew. My interests include English syntax, morphology, and traditional grammar, which I studied while working toward my MA in linguistics. I have been an ESL instructor and tutor and understand the rationales behind the common errors that students make when writing, which is essential when interpreting any message you may wish to convey. I will work hard on any project until it is perfect. My goal is to ensure that your submissions convey professionalism without losing personality. I am currently an accent modification instructor and grammar tutor in Los Angeles, California. Recently, I have returned to school and am pursued an MA in Speech-Language Pathology.

I instruct students and professionals in modifying their accents for better clarity and confidence. I start by assessing the client's abilities by isolating certain aspects of his or her speech; then I work with each client one on one, adjusting the program as we go along. Skills required for my position include expertise in Standard American English pronunciation and grammatical constructions; a background in phonetics, phonology, and prosody; general understanding of language universals; ability to quickly grasp the features of a client’s language and apply that information to a structured program; an interest in helping others; and a lot of patience.
