Dr. Aslam Anis is one of Canada’s most distinguished health economists. In a career spanning more than 25 years, he has achieved international recognition for his seminal contributions to the fields of pharmacoeconomics, pharmaceutical industry regulation, and drug pricing.

Dr. Anis’ current and past work is influential across a broad spectrum of health research domains including HIV/AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis, substance use and addiction treatment, among others.

04 Kenneth Bassett

Professor, Department of Family Practice, UBC.

His ongoing research interests are in the systematic review of drug therapy and drug funding policy. He also conducts pharmaco-epidemiologic studies of serious adverse events associated with prescription drug therapy in British Columbia.
