主要是开展人文地理与自然地理的研究。

具体的研究领域比如：城市与国际发展地理，地缘政治学，空间正义，公共政策，批判理论，性别地理，历史地理，文化地理，环境评估与变化，环境风险，行星与河流地貌学，气候学，GIS，遥感等。

申请条件

✔相关专业的二等上荣誉学位或/和硕士学位（绝大多数申请者硕士学位）

✔雅思6.5/托福90 （前一个学位英语授课maybe可以豁免）

04 Assoc Professor Gerald Mills

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My primary research interests are in climates, particularly the processes that operate in the lowest layer of the atmosphere. I am especially interested in the climates that are generated by urban areas and potential for planning and design to create comfortable and healthy outdoor environments. I have a secondary interest in Irish climate and in the regional scale processes that control aspects of the water budget. In addition, I am interested in the spatial data analyses and geographic information systems.

05 Assoc Professor Ainhoa Gonzalez Del Campo

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My research focuses on the analysis of environmental change through space and time; looking at potential approaches to more effectively integrate natural capital values and environmental considerations into urban and rural planning decisions.

06 Dr Tobi Morakinyo

Assistant Professor

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My research interest includes but not limited to:

(1) Development and utilization of nature-based solutions for urban climate mitigation and air quality improvement;
(2) Understanding the feedback interaction among global climate change impacts, urban infrastructures and urban ecosystem;
(3) Demystifying the human behavioural aspects of adopting and harnessing urban green infrastructures as sustainable solutions for heat-related climate change impacts;
(4) Sustainable urban energy planning in a changing climate;
(5) Climate variability, regional climate and air quality modelling using GIS, remote sensing, numerical modelling and field measurement techniques.
